I had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Miyako. The shower had a strong, steady water flow, making it incredibly relaxing. The bed and bedding were super cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. While the room was a bit dated, it was impeccably clean—kudos to the housekeeping team for their excellent work! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Japanese Village, with plenty of great dining options nearby. Public parking is available next to the building, requiring a short walk. It costs $30 per day, but reentry incurs an additional $30 charge each time. For more convenience, the hotel offers unlimited reentry valet parking for $50 per day.

I chose the Miyako for its location: near Los Angeles Union Train Station in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of LA. Little Tokyo is a charming neighborhood and there is a subway station and bus stops close by to get anywhere in the area easily. The Miyako is a solid three star hotel that is very clean and well cared for and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a small coffee shop/bakery in the lobby area for a morning coffee and/or breakfast and they have a small area where you can purchase snacks and drinks. The room was spacious and comfortable. Well laid out for either relaxing or using the desk to work on a computer.

The hotel is so clean and it smells amazing. It’s our first to visit LA so we were a little bit stressed and nervous. Once we got to the hotel and entered to the lobby, we felt so relaxing. The parking cost $45 but you can go in and out which is good. The staffs are friendly. They have a store and a bakery. It is good to have some snacks whenever you need and they also prepare the hot water if you want to have a instant noodles. The coffee in the bakery was very good! I had it every day during my stay. I love this hotel and definitely will go back again!

The hotel is placed in Little Tokio - japanese part of the city, close to restaurants and shops with an area safe for walking - as far as we saw. It includes a bakery so eating fresh breakfast was not an issue. Staff is friendly and helpfull (e.g we requested an additional bed which was solved on the spot) Rooms are clean, towels are changed whenever is needed. If you do not wish to use the hotel parking, it can be used the LittleTokio public parking which is in the nearby building (during our stay was 30eur/day)

Always like staying at the Miyako. The hotel is easy to access from LAX via the FlyAway bus to Union Station and a 15 minute walk to the hotel (or a short Uber). The rooms are large and comfortable. The rooms with views to the street side are the best. The Okayama Kobo bakery at the first floor off the lobby is fantastic- very authentic Japanese style pastries and breads- and great coffee too. Staff is always wonderful here and always look forward to coming back.
