the room was good sized; the amenities were really very welcoming. the internal cafe was really wonderful- such good food and the service was quite nice. the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of outlets. the floor was so quiet and not even a whiff of smoke anywhere. so close to restaurants and Little Tokyo shops snd the market was so close by. the refrigerator is a little small but love the green tea and earl gray tea choices in the room. the bathroom bidet was truly a treasured amenity as was the Bath and body works toiletries. towels were light and fluffy. housekeeping was wonderful and prompt and the room was spotless and was so clean but never smelled clean (no odors of disinfectant. all if the staff wear masks and there is always a sense of warmth and genuine customer service. by the second day they knew me by name and preferences!

We wanted to go to Japan town and eat Japanese food, noodles, etc. Very nice hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful; impeccably clean rooms with great beds! Safe area, parking on premises very safe and convenient at a reasonable rate (considering the rates in Los Angeles). Very close to everything in old Los Angeles, Central Station, Chinatown, etc. It is a great place to go for a weekend and have a 'time-out' as a couple. Quiet place and peaceful meals in friendly places in Los Angeles.... no homeless tents was a plus!!!

I was very pleased with my stay at Miyako Hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly (even remembered my name the next day). I was early for check in and they allowed me to check in as soon as the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the necessities needed. The hotel, while not in the greatest of locations, was in walking distance to a lot of the local spots. I did not feel unsafe at any time (although that could be because I am from southern California!)

Everyone was very nice and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was very convenient and I felt very safe in the Little Tokyo neighborhood. When I first arrived in my room, the battery in the smoke detector was dead and it was beeping. I called down to the front desk and they immediately sent up a member of the maintenance staff to fix it. He was very nice and we chatted about the city while he fixed the issue. The rest of my stay was without issue.

Sandra

The check-in procedure was seamless. The temperature control was convenient. The hotel décor felt modern. The downstairs cafe was surprisingly affordable and great quality in comparison to other hotels' restaurants. Overall, the entire stay felt true to a 3-star hotel experience; it felt as though the staff were offering the best possible experience with the existing hotel facilities.
